About Us

Tribe Clinical Psychology is grounded in a deep commitment to belonging, community, and neuroaffirmative care. The name “Tribe” reflects both personal roots and shared values. One of us is originally from Galway — the home of the Tribes — and the name represents something central to our ethos: connection, shared understanding, and the importance of not facing challenges alone. Now based in Kilkenny, we have created a practice built on those principles of community and support.

Since 2020, we have worked within the public health service across a range of settings, including university hospitals, specialist mental health services, inpatient and community teams, disability services, and residential care. This breadth of experience has shaped a thoughtful and well-rounded understanding of neurodevelopmental and mental health presentations across the lifespan.

As parents ourselves, we bring not only professional expertise but also lived perspective to our work. We understand the hopes, worries, and complexities that can come with seeking clarity for your child — as well as the courage it takes for adults to explore their own neurodevelopmental profile. Working with children and families has always been central to our practice, and this continues to inform a compassionate, practical, and collaborative approach.

At its heart, Tribe Clinical Psychology is a space where clinical expertise meets empathy — and where individuals and families feel genuinely understood and supported.
